About our establishment
Sportpro SA Lodge and Accommodation was born from Theo’s passion for sport and years of driving his children from one match to the next. He dreamt of creating a safe, purpose-built home where teams could eat, sleep, train, and breathe sport — surrounded by memorabilia from legends who prove that hard work beats talent.
TODAY…athletes from across the world stay here to train, stay, and “sleep amongst the stars.

The Heart Behind the Gardens

Our gardens — the soul of the lodge — were inspired by the late Gwen Janse van Rensburg, whose love for peace and tranquillity shaped every pathway, flowerbed, and bloom you see today.
Gwen tragically passed away on 31 October 2020, but her vision continues to grow through the hands of our dear friend, Fanie Haarhoff, who has lovingly nurtured her dream into a sanctuary of colour, calm, and abundant birdlife.
We will forever honour Gwen for the life, warmth, and grace she brought to our lodge.
May she forever rest in the garden of our Lord, Jesus Christ.
